One day they're tucked beneath your chin, their hand wrapped around your finger, needing you for everything. Then somehow, without you noticing, they're running ahead. Their features change, their voices grow, and the little things you thought you'd never forget begin to soften around the edges.
The little things are often the first to fade. The weight of a sleepy baby against your chest. The way they reached for your hand without thinking. The laughter, the chaos, the tenderness woven quietly through ordinary days.
Years from now, when these days have long since passed, my hope is that your photographs bring it all rushing back—the love, the connection, and exactly how it felt.
